Tibial meniscus

The tibial menisci consists of the medial meniscus and lateral meniscus and are the "interarticular fibrocartilages of the superior surface of the tibia."[1]
Tears of the lateral meniscus may be more easy to palpate than tears of the medial meniscus.[2]
