Water sports

Water sports is a broadly used term for all sporting activity which takes place either on a water surface, in water or underwater. Aquatics are sports that involve some measure of swimming and/or diving. Other activities using craft, vessels or boards are canoeing, dinghy racing, kayaking, sailing, surfing, and yacht racing. There are numerous events and classes within each category and they are a prominent feature of the Olympic Games.
