Rufus Pollock [r]: A scientist who was one of the original signers of the Panton Principles -- a set of recommendations on how to license and label scientific data to promote scientific research using data that has been made public without infringing copyrights. The group met at the Panton Arms pub in Cambridge in the U.K. in September 2009, and included Jenny Meyer, Jordan Hatcher, John Wilbanks, Cameron Neylon, Peter Murray-Rust, Carolina Rossini.
