Victoria Day is a national holiday in Canada, celebrated on the last Monday in May, on or before the 24th. It celebrates the birthday of both Queen Victoria and the current reigning monarch. For many Canadians it marks the unofficial start of summer. The day is generally celebrated with fireworks. A two-four, coincidentally, is a colloquial term for a case of 24 beers.
