I'm an educator in Auckland, New Zealand. I work for a number of educational organisations and specialise in learning technology, learning design and professional development for teachers. I have also been involved in research and development projects in education. I'm an educator in Auckland, New Zealand. I work for a number of educational organisations and specialise in learning technology, learning design and professional development for teachers. I have also been involved in research and development projects in education. I'm currently teaching on a Graduate Certificate in Applied Elearning, as well as curriculum design and evaluation projects.
My professional interests tend to focus around Web 2 tools such as wikis and blogs. I use my blog to write and publish short articles on these and other topics. I'm a strong believer in open source and open access to education, but believe there is an important place for restricting write access in some situations.
